Gas Station Provision Correction Text Amendment – Citywide
Development

A city-initiated text amendment would fix numbering, cross-reference, and clerical errors in the zoning code related to gas station standards adopted in January 2025, and correct other errors in Chapter 21A caused by overlapping ordinances. The proposal applies citywide and will go through the planning review process.
Official description: Mayor Erin Mendenhall has initiated a petition, at the request of the planning division, to correct references in the land use tables’ qualifying provisions that were not properly updated to reflect the gas station standards adopted in January of 2025. This text amendment is intended to correct numbering, cross-reference, and clerical errors related to the gas station chapter 21A.36.120. It will also address additional errors identified within Chapter 21A that have resulted from the adoption of multiple overlapping ordinances.
