Intermountain Health has petitioned to vacate a roughly 10-by-215-foot public alley running north-south between Richards Street and Main Street near 800 South, to support building an off-site parking structure for the IH Hospital. If approved, the alley would be split at the centerline and sold at fair market value to the two abutting property owners.

Official description: Intermountain Health Services, INC., the applicants, are requesting approval to vacate (or to give up public ownership of) a public alleyway. The alley runs south-north from 800 South, between Richards Street and Main Street. The alley abuts four parcels and is approximately 10 feet wide by 215 feet long. If approved, the alley would be divided at the centerline and sold at fair market value to the two abutting property owners. The purpose of the alley vacation is to support the construction of an off-site parking structure that will serve the IH Hospital.
