Proposed for the FY26 Capital Improvement Program. District Four. $3,000,000 requested; $2,760,500 recommended by the resident advisory board; $3,000,000 in the Mayor's budget.
Official description: Allocate funding to bring strategic segments of the Green Loop to construction as early as 2026. Where the Civic Campus and Green Loop intersect (200 East from approximately 350 South to 550 South), there is a valuable opportunity to create an iconic and vibrant event space in the heart of downtown.
