Property owners are requesting that the city vacate (give up public ownership of) a roughly 12-foot by 262-foot public alley running east to west between Chadwick Street and Dearborn Street, south of 2553 S. Chadwick Street. The petition will go through city review and public input before a decision.
Official description: Anne & Zach Taylor, property owners of 2553 S. Chadwick, are requesting approval for an alley vacation (to give up public ownership of) for the alley located to the south of them & 2554 S. Dearborn St. This public alley is approximately 12 feet wide by 262 feet long. It runs east to west from Chadwick Street to Dearborn Street.
