Residential Building Permit: Previously installed Cement pad
929 E CRANDALL AVE, Salt Lake City UT 84106-2107 · Sugar House Community
Development
NEED JOB VALUATION////We had previously installed a cement pad about 15 feet to the right of our primary driveway access. Initially we considered this be a driveway access, but unfortunately we cannot install a "curb cut" due to an irrigation pipe directly below the park strip. We did at one time use this pad as a place to store our trailer, and had a makeshift ramp from the curb. We no longer use it for this purpose and took down the ramp. We can access this pad from our primary driveway where we may store an extra vehicle, but will not access the street directly from this pad. We were advised to apply for a "retroactive permit" since the work was already completed over 7 years ago. Since this will not be a driveway with street access I am hesitant to apply for the permit as a "driveway permit" and was advised instead to apply under Residential Building Permit after my original application under Site development (BLD2026-08784) was voided. Seeking a permit for this non-driveway cement pad work that was completed over 7 years ago.
