Residential Building Permit: J. Treidl retaining walls and landscaping remodel

Development
We have two large retaining walls about 7’ tall from grade on the property. One is in the southwest corner of the yard to “flatten out” some of the sloped yard to make it more usable. This one will most likely be precast concrete block and everything that our engineer tells us is required. The other is where a current boulder rock wall is located on the east side of the property. We will be moving it farther into the slope so itll be taller than current and go no taller than 7’ to follow planning requirements. We will be removing the old galvanized irrigation system and in so doing will be adding a backflow preventer. A 3-4’ concrete retaining wall in the frontyard to expand the driveway. The west side of the home grade will be lowered to try to match the grade of the current retaining wall on the west neighbors property. We will also be removing all old railroad tie stairs and patios and replacing with rock staircases.
