This project consists of the renovation of an existing data center facility. The building’s existing construction type, envelope, use and function will remain unchanged, with the proposed improvements focused on upgrading and relocating the facility’s cooling infrastructure.To improve protection of the critical server equipment within the data center, the existing rooftop cooling equipment will be removed and relocated to an at-grade location on the site. The relocated equipment will be consolidated within a new masonry screen wall enclosure designed to visually integrate with the existing site improvements.The new enclosure will utilize masonry materials, colors, and detailing that complement and match the existing masonry enclosure currently located on the property. This approach will provide the necessary screening of the mechanical equipment while maintaining a cohesive architectural character throughout the site. The proposed improvements are intended to enhance the functionality and reliability of the existing data center while minimizing their visual impact on the surrounding industrial properties.
