nterior improvements to an existing single-family residence to upgrade the vapor intrusion mitigation system. Work includes removal and replacement of approximately 560 square feet of basement concrete slab, excavation of approximately 12 inches of underlying soil, installation of aggregate, a vapor barrier, sub-slab collection piping, and associated vent piping and fan. Work also includes sump replacement, sub-slab drainage improvements, and connection of the sump discharge to the existing sanitary drain (previous approval established for this connection). Foundation wall penetrations and work near the interior load-bearing wall will be performed under the structural engineer’s direction.
